China Participated in International Academic Workshop on Legislation Construction of Combating Corruption
On January 12 and 13, the International Academic Workshop on Legislation Construction of Combating Corruption was jointly held by Research Centre for Constitution and Administrative Law of Peking University and China Law Center of Yale Law School at Yingjie Exchange Center of Peking University. Luo Haocai, Vice Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Xiong Xuanguo, Vice President of Supreme People’s Court, Ying Songnian, President of Administrative Law Research Institute of China Law Society and leaders from Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council and Peking University Law School participated in the Workshop. National Bureau of Corruption Prevention also attended the Workshop.
At the Workshop, more than 60 experts in field of social sciences from China and the United States had in-depth exchanges and discussion on topics such as the Basic Theory and System of Combating Corruption, Social Transition and Combating Corruption, Combating Corruption: From the Angles of Politics and Economics, and Combating Corruption: From the Legal Angle. Participating experts spoke highly of China’s achievements in anti-corruption work and the practice of actively launching the work of corruption prevention after the country adopted the policy of reform and opening up to the outside world. |
