Ma Wen, born in Wuqiao, Hebei Province. Joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in August 1972.
July 1968-September 1978: deputy director of the Sudulun People‘s Commune in Wulate County in Inner Mongolia.
September 1978-July 1982: studied at the History Department of Nankai University.
From July 1982 onward: deputy Party secretary of the subdivision of Nankai University, deputy Party secretary of Nankai University.

Qu Wangxiang,born in Bejing.Joined the Communist Party of China in 1972.
1969-1973:served in the 50th Army of the People's Liberation Army.
1973-1974:worked at the Bejing February 7 Rolling Stock Plant.
1974-1979:worked at the Cadres Examination Bureau of the Organization Department of CPC Central Committee.

Cui Hairong, born in Huaiyuan of Anhui Province. University graduate. Began career in November 1972. Joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 1976
November 1972-May 1976: served in Troop 441 of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
May 1976-July 1979: deputy director of Tonggu Naor Forestry Center, Alashanzuo County of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
July 1979-July 1981: studied in Chinese Department of Ningxia Education College.

Areas of Responsibility
|
I. Responsible for orchestration, overall planning, policy formulation and examination and supervision of nationwide anti-corruption work.
II. Coordinate and offer guidance to the corruption prevention work in enterprises, public institutions, social groups, medium agencies and other social organizations.
III. Responsible for international cooperation and international aid with regard to corruption prevention.

| Organizational Structure |
| The National Bureau of Corruption Prevention is subordinate to the State Council. It is Responsible for the nationwide corruption prevention. The bureau is now housed in the Ministry of Supervision and the post of its director is held by the minister of Supervision concurrently. Ms. Ma Wen is currently the bureau head.There are two deputy directors. One is now held by Mr. Qu Wanxiang, Vice Minister of Supervision. The other one also at Vice Minister level oversees the routine work of the bureau, and now is held by Mr. Cui Hairong. Under the National Bureau of Corruption Prevention is the General Office which is in charge of routine affairs. Under the General Office are the Comprehensive Affairs Section, and Section 1, 2, 3 and 4. Their areas of responsibility are as the follows: |
