CGU Delegation Visits NBCP
On the morning of July 29, 2009, a 6-member delegation from the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) of Brazil visited the National Bureau of Corruption Prevention (NBCP). Mr. Guo Songjiang，Deputy Director-General Commissioner from NBCP Office met with the delegation and introduced the organizational structure and the major responsibilities of NBCP and the work it has carried out since its establishment.
Mr. Marcos Manzochi, Director of Audit, Federal Internal Control Secretariat of CGU expressed his gratitude for the meeting arranged by NBCP and highly appreciated the series of effective measures taken by China in preventing corruption. After that, Mr. Marcos Manzochi briefly introduced the responsibilities and related work of CGU. He indicated that Brazil attached great importance to learning the experience and practices of China in corruption prevention. As the corruption prevention authority designated by the Brazilian Government according to the UN Convention against Corruption, CGU would like to launch more exchanges and cooperation with NBCP under the framework of the Convention so as to constantly deepen the corruption prevention work of the two countries through learning from each other the good experience and practices in corruption prevention. |
