Symposium on Restraining Outbound Travel for Tourism on Public Funds Held in Beijing
The Symposium on Restraining Outbound Travel for Tourism on Public Funds was held by the Office of the Inter-Ministerial Cross-the-Board Meeting on the Special Work of Restraining Outbound Travel for Tourism on Public Funds in Beijing on December 22 to research and discuss ways of improving the management on outbound travel on private affairs of the CPC and government cadres and solicit opinions and suggestions from the members of the Office of the Inter-Ministerial Cross-the-Board Meeting on the Special Work of Restraining Outbound Travel for Tourism on Public Funds and related heads on the next-step work of deepening the special work of restraining outbound travel for tourism on public funds. Qu Wanxiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Deputy Minister of Supervision and Deputy Director of National Bureau of Corruption Prevention (NBCP) attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Cui Hairong, NBCP Deputy Director attended the meeting.
Qu Wanxiang fully affirmed the progresses and achievements made in the special work of restraining outbound travel for tourism on public funds in the previous stage. He pointed out that since 2009, the special work of restraining outbound travel for tourism on public funds has made great achievements, the evil trend of outbound travel for tourism on public funds was preliminarily restrained and the work of outbound travel for public affairs was further strengthened and standardized. Under the circumstance, we should earnestly study ways of resolutely restraining outbound travel for tourism on public funds and further reform and improve the management of outbound travel on private affairs of the CPC and government cadres.
Participants put forward many good opinions and suggestions on the topics such as the key points in the 2010 special work of restraining outbound travel for tourism on public funds, opinions on further deepening the special work of outbound travel for tourism on public funds and the work of managing outbound travel on private affairs of the CPC and government cadres.
Heads of related departments and bureaus in the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, Office of the Leading Group of Foreign Affairs of the CPC Central committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, State Administration for Foreign Experts Affairs and National Tourism Administration, and heads of legal affairs office and archive management office of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection attended the meeting. |
